Born in Seattle, Washington and raised in North Carolina, Nicole Bairstow spent much of her teenage years baking everything from cookies to pies. Her love for baking propelled her to pursue a career in culinary arts, beginning with earning a Bachelors in Culinary Science and Management from The Art Institute of Charleston. She then went on to work under the leadership of several mentors in prestigious Charleston area restaurants, including the Old Village Post House. Nicole believes her most influential job to date was working under Chef Nate Whiting for Tristan Restaurant, where she was taught the importance of quality and self-assurance, and where she learned an entire new respect for food and service. As an Event Manager for Tristan Catering and Events, Nicole enjoys helping make each occasion a successful and memorable event experience for all of our clients.
